Rejection

Let’s normalize rejection.

More often than not, when rejected professionally, we start doubting ourselves. We start questioning whether we are good enough or not.

But the point is that it’s more about the alignment than our capabilities. What I mean is that when we are rejected from a job, it’s because we do not align with the specific job profile. It’s because the required skill set is different from our skill set.

In no way does it mean that our skill set is of no use. This is the most important thing to understand here.

The same applies to relationships as well. Being rejected doesn’t make you unworthy of love. Don’t doubt yourself.

But of course, this should not be an excuse for you to stop working on yourself. Keep upgrading your skills. Keep upgrading yourself as a person.
