Peace of Mind

Having peace of mind is something that we massively underrate.

We underrate being able to sit calmly at a place without the need to rush to some other place.

We underrate being able to simply listen to music while sipping a cup of tea.

We underrate being able to take a leisurely walk without the thought of work haunting us.

On the other hand, we overrate having a fancy car. We overrate a fancy job. We overrate a fancy house.

In chasing these things, we often give up on our mental peace.

We believe that having these things will give us happiness while actually sacrificing our happiness in the process.

Having peace of mind, thus, is your biggest asset. Trading it for a higher-paying job, a fancy new car, or a fancy house is not worth it.
