Miserable

Things are difficult right now. It’s so easy to feel helpless and lost.

From morning through the night, we are bombarded with news that keeps reminding us of our grim reality.

So many new cases, so many deaths. Lack of facilities, lack of equipment. It’s natural to feel discouraged after hearing all this right now.

But amid all this, you need to remember that ultimately you’ll have to look out for yourself. With so many people suffering already, the onus is on you to keep your spirits up. No one is going to come and worry about you.

By keeping your spirits up, you can not only keep yourself well but also give hope to others.

Here are a few things that are helping me keep myself sane.

Do activities that can calm your mind like watching a calm video (check out Fairyland Cottage for that matter), sitting down and listening to music, being around nature or listening to nature sounds, talking to your friends, playing video games, re-watching your favorite TV series, or most importantly, keeping yourself busy with work.

The more time you spend worrying about things that are out of your control, the more miserable you’ll be.
