In no way does contentment mean giving up on your big goals. That’s where many people get it wrong. They believe that since one is content with their life, they won’t aim for bigger and better things.

However, contrary to this belief, contentment usually makes it easier for someone to achieve big things in life.

The feeling of not being sufficient can cripple you and further fuel your anxiety. Contentment, on the other hand, empowers you to take on life challenges. Contentment helps build faith in your own abilities.

So contentment doesn’t mean one must stop striving for growth. It only means that one must be more accepting of their current circumstances. This acceptance then makes it easier to move ahead in life.
