For me, success means being in a balanced state physically, mentally, and financially.

The kind of successful people you see in your TV, social media feed, or news usually excel in only one of these areas. It is a well-established fact that to greatly excel at one thing, you need to make compromises in other areas of your life. 

Einstein was probably the greatest scientist ever. But he wasn’t that great a husband to her first wife Mileva Marić.

And to be honest, I get that. I even appreciate such people who can make these sacrifices.

But personally, I believe the truly successful people are those who spend their time doing what they love, who have a moderate amount of financial backing, and who are able to spend time around people they love.
